Questions

Good to
know.

Do I need any experience to start?

None at all for DJ Fundamentals I. It's built for total beginners — and also for self-taught DJs who've been winging it and want real foundations. We start from the ground up and build fast.

Do I need my own equipment?

Not to begin. You'll learn on professional Pioneer gear in the studio. As you progress we'll talk about what's worth buying for your goals and budget — so you spend on the right thing, not the expensive thing.

How are the cohorts structured?

DJ Fundamentals I runs eight weeks, in person in Highland Park, with weeks 3 and 6 held virtually. It includes open decks and closes with a live Listening Party. Cohorts are kept small on purpose so every student gets real reps and real attention.

Can I pay in installments?

Yes. You can pay in full (and save) or split tuition into a plan — a deposit holds your seat, then the balance in 2 or 4 payments. Financing over a longer period is available at checkout. We'll choose the plan that fits on your discovery call.

What makes this different from other DJ lessons?

Most schools teach you buttons. We train the whole artist — the craft, your sound, and the inner game of standing in front of a room. That last part comes from seventeen years of performing, a decade of facilitation, and five years of coaching practice woven into every cohort.

What if I miss a session?

Life happens. Cohorts are small, so we'll work with you to keep you on track — we'll cover what you missed and make sure you don't fall behind. We'll talk through the details when you enroll.

Where is the academy located?

Highland Park, Los Angeles. The exact studio address is shared with enrolled students and confirmed RSVPs to events.

How do I get started?

Book a discovery call. It's a relaxed conversation about where you are and where you want to go — and the way every student begins.

Still have questions?

Book a discovery call with Harry — where you are, where your music should take you, and which path gets you there.
